The Education Office of the Handmaids of the Holy Child Jesus was created by the Superior General and Council to ensure that our religious traditions and values are maintained through supervision of all school activities especially curriculum, staffing, discipline, standard facilities, and quality of service; thereby leading to the attainment of our desired goal and objectives for which these schools were established.

Message from the Office of the HHCJ Coordinator of Schools
Welcome to the Education Office of the Handmaids of the Holy Child Jesus. The Office is committed to excellence through quality enhancement in all our schools. We focus on a holistic education in terms of morals, values, academics and discipline in social, emotional, mental, physical, and cognitive development.
As you browse further, you will find here a glimpse into where we draw our inspiration from, who we are and what we want to become. Our vision is geared towards the transformation of persons in our different apostolates especially in the field of education. We understand that when learning and teaching of a whole person continually improve, every other thing improves.
Our inspirations are drawn from our Mother Foundress, Mother Mary Charles Magdalen Walker, RSC, who was an Educationist Par Excellence. For her, “No work is of greater importance for God’s glory than the education of the young.”
We teach and train our pupils and students in the love of God, for the purpose for which life was given — to love God and neighbour — to live as children of God. Our Foundress was particularly focused on honesty and truthfulness which were the core values she wanted the pupils and students to imbibe as she said “Teach them, the children, to speak the truth, to be honest in speech and behaviour, even if they have to suffer for it.”
She urged us to show special love for the children even as we bring them to the influence of grace through administering to them in our schools. You are welcome to any of our schools. I promise you, no amount is too much for your child to enjoy holistic education.

Absolutely. HHCJ schools practise a non-discriminatory admission policy. All students, regardless of religious background, are welcome and will receive the same quality of holistic education and care.
HHCJ institutions cover Nursery, Primary, Junior High, Secondary, Vocational/Technical, and Special Education — including Juniorates and schools for the visually and hearing impaired.
The Education Coordinator carries out regular assessments, evaluations and supervision across all schools. Performance appraisals, syllabus coverage reviews and staff grading ensure standards are consistently met.
